#6: His Luddite Attitude

Friends don’t always have the right opinions. But you tolerate their sometimes strange views because you love them. We did the same with Franklin’s attitude toward technology, against which he was frankly prejudiced. He was (by all accounts) a Luddite through and through. Some cats are downright technophiles. They are very curious about all the new bells and whistles. Not Franklin. His motto was, if it beeps, get it the hell away from me. If only we could have his fortitude and dedication to the analog. Clearly he had a good point, since it was never really clear what we were doing with all these things:

We even had the wrong kind of mouse:

And sometimes we would spin something but put it under this plastic! Quite pointless if you ask me:

Franklin was a big opponent of screen time. Touch grass! He would do great with kids:

There could be a rare scenario where technology was good: if it was really hot out. Otherwise, even the fans and air conditioners were quite suspect.

If it were up to Franklin, I would have never worked a day in my life. And honestly, I didn’t want to, especially when he was here.
